Permission Form

In order for a skater to participate in a U.S. Figure Skating sanctioned event (including test sessions) at a club other than his/her home club, this form must be completed by an officer of the skater’s home club and sent to the club hosting the event.

Volunteer Requirements

Since its establishment in 1961, the Birmingham Figure Skating Club has thrived due to the unwavering dedication of our volunteers. Our goal of growing this sport and the love of figure skating is the reason why we volunteer. BFSC strives to create a strong and positive infrastructure for our skaters and members to thrive in. All of this is possible because of the decades of volunteers that have come before, and our present-day members now. We take immense pride in our legacy and are excited about the promising future that lies ahead.

In effort to ensure the continued growth of BFSC and our programs, each club member is expected to complete a minimum of **10 hours of volunteer work annually, or 15 hours per family**. Thisrequirement was temporarily suspended during the COVID pandemic and for several years following, but is in effect again. 

We have a variety of upcoming opportunities that will make it easy for our members to fulfill this obligation. I cannot stress enough the advantages of volunteering. It is a fantastic way to connect with fellow club members and engage in the events we organize! Your involvement also supports every skater and coach within our organization and beyond.

Members will need to log their volunteer hours on Entryeeze and sign in and out at each event. These hours must be submitted via EntryEeze by the end of the BFSC calendar year, June 30th. You are welcome to log your hours in Entryeeze after each event if you prefer. Please follow these simple steps below:

1. Visit EntryEeze.com
2. Choose Find Your Home Club in upper right hand corner under Membership/Testing
3. Type in Birmingham Figure Skating Club where prompted
4. Choose Existing Members on dropdown menu
5. Enter Email address/Password
6. Choose Volunteer tab across the top of the menu choices, in that drop down, choose My Volunteer Hours
7. From there you can choose the Family Member and enter hours and event they participated in
